1. Introductory Provisions
These terms govern the use of the website tydenvkrasu.cz (hereinafter the “website”), operated by Josef Kopřiva as a private individual (hereinafter the “operator”).
The website serves as an informational travel guide to the Moravian Karst – it contains articles, itineraries, practical tips, and offers a free downloadable PDF itinerary in exchange for an email address. The website is not an e-shop – nothing is sold directly through it, with the exception of any future paid digital content, which would be subject to separate terms published at the time of its introduction.
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
2. Nature of the Content – What to Watch Out For
The articles on the website contain practical information about the Moravian Karst: opening hours, admission prices, timetables, recommended routes, and similar details.
- I verify the information against official sources (the Czech Caves Administration, IDS JMK, the Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic, and others) at the time of writing the article, and each article states the date as of which the information is valid.
- Prices, opening hours, timetables and other operational information may change over time independently of my will. Before travelling, please always check the current status on the official website of the relevant institution (links can be found in each article).
- Route and activity recommendations are based on typical conditions – weather, your physical fitness and the current state of tourist infrastructure may vary. I bear no liability for any damage arising in connection with the use of information from the website (e.g. a decision to set out on a particular route) to the extent permitted by Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code.
This is not professional hiking, health or safety advice – for physically demanding routes (caves, ravines, cycling trips), please assess your own abilities and the current conditions, or consult the local tourist information service.
3. Affiliate Links and Commissions
The website contains affiliate (partner) links – typically to accommodation portals (via the Stay22 map, or direct links to Booking.com and similar services). If you make a booking or purchase through these links, I may receive a commission from the respective partner. This costs you nothing extra – the price you pay is the same as if you had gone directly to the portal in question.
When recommending specific accommodation options or services on the website, I rely on my own judgement of their quality and relevance to readers, not on the amount of any potential commission.
For details on what data is processed in connection with affiliate links, please see the Privacy Policy.
4. Copyright
All textual and visual content of the website (articles, photographs, graphics, the downloadable PDF itinerary) is protected by copyright and belongs to the operator of the website, unless stated otherwise for a specific item.
What you may do: read, share a link to an article, quote a short excerpt with attribution of the source and a link back to tydenvkrasu.cz.
What you may not do without prior consent: copy entire articles or a substantial part of them onto another website, take photographs or the PDF itinerary and distribute them as your own content, or otherwise use the website’s content for commercial purposes.
If you wish to use the content in a way not permitted by these terms, please write to [email protected].
5. Liability for Website Availability
I endeavour to keep the website available at all times, but I do not guarantee uninterrupted operation – outages may occur due to maintenance, technical faults on the part of the hosting provider, or other reasons beyond my control.
6. Links to Third-Party Websites
The website contains links to third-party websites (official websites of caves, transport operators, accommodation portals, etc.). I am not responsible for the content or operation of these third-party websites – please be guided by their own terms and policies.
7. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between us that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, you may – to the extent that the Consumer Protection Act applies to your specific case – contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz) or the online platform for resolving consumer disputes (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). Given that the website does not currently sell anything, this option mainly concerns any future paid products, should I introduce them.
8. Governing Law
These terms and the use of the website are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
9. Changes to These Terms
I may amend these terms from time to time – for example, when introducing a new website feature or paid content. The current version is always available on this page.
Questions regarding these terms should be directed to [email protected].
